Zhongxin General engineered a purpose-built 2×800 kVA prefabricated modular substation for Kazakhstan’s Aktau container port — a Belt & Road flagship hub on the Caspian Sea. The 15 m × 10.5 m × 3.7 m unit was split into 5 factory-complete transport modules and delivered 4,500 km overland via Horgos, featuring 14-unit KYN28-12 switchgear, own-manufactured ZHONGXIN GENERAL dry-type transformers, and a climate-adaptive environmental control system engineered for Aktau’s harsh coastal conditions.
