The nameplate above is from an actual production unit — not a stock image or a specification sheet mockup. The unit pictured complies with GB 20052-2020 Grade 3 energy efficiency requirements as standard. Grade 1 and Grade 2 versions are available on request, with Grade 1 technical performance at or above the requirements of EU Commission Regulation No. 548/2014 and Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/1783 Tier 1 and Tier 2.
Manufacturing Process — From Winding to Dispatch
Unlike suppliers who illustrate small-capacity product pages with stock photographs of larger units, every image below documents the actual 100 kVA unit: this specific capacity, wound, assembled, dried, and completed at our Sichuan facility.
Winding & Internal Assembly

The high-voltage winding uses high-quality enamelled copper wire wound to precise turn counts, with oil-impregnated insulating paper between layers. The low-voltage winding is designed to carry the rated LV current of 144.3 A at tap position II. Both coils are wound to dimensional tolerances that directly govern the no-load loss, load loss, and short-circuit impedance values stamped on the nameplate.


This is a step where shortcuts produce failures in service — and a step we do not shortcut.
Insulation Drying

The assembled active part enters the high-temperature drying oven for controlled heat treatment. This process removes residual moisture from oil-impregnated paper, inter-layer insulation, and all structural insulating materials. It is the step that establishes the finished unit’s dielectric strength — and a step that cannot be compressed without long-term reliability consequences.

The corrugated fin tank design provides effective ONAN natural cooling without the need for external radiator panels — a proven, compact configuration widely used at this capacity in pole-mounted and ground-mounted outdoor distribution. Once the active part is inspected and accepted, it is inserted into the tank, oil is filled, and the unit proceeds to factory acceptance testing.

Every 100 kVA oil-immersed transformer manufactured by Zhongxin General undergoes a full routine test programme before dispatch.
