In July 1997, Mr. Li Xia graduated from Mianyang Technical College with a major in Electromechanical Engineering. He raised over RMB 10,000 as start-up capital and began his entrepreneurial career by repairing and recycling used transformers. He went on to establish his own power equipment installation and maintenance company, and in 2017, together with friends from the power industry, co-founded Sichuan Zhongxin General Electric Energy Co., Ltd. He currently serves as Chairman of two companies: Chengdu Xinjienen Electric Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Zhongxin General Electric Energy Co., Ltd.
As a new-generation entrepreneur who grew up locally in Xinjin, Chairman Li Xia also serves as a member of the Xinjin District CPPCC (Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference), Executive President of the Xinjin District New-Generation Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce, and a standing council member of both the Sichuan Electric Power Enterprise Association and the Chengdu Electric Power Industry Chamber of Commerce.
