This unit is built to Grade 3 energy efficiency under GB20052-2024 as standard. Zhongxin General can also produce Grade 1 versions on request, with technical standards equal to or higher than EU Commission Regulation No. 548/2014 and Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/1783 Tier 1/2 requirements — the same efficiency benchmark we apply across our full oil-immersed transformer range. As a manufacturing factory, we also offer aluminium winding as an alternative to the standard copper configuration.

Winding

At this capacity, winding is coordinated work: turn spacing, conductor tension and layer insulation all have to stay consistent across a coil this size, since any deviation shows up later as increased load loss or reduced short-circuit strength.

The clamping fixture holds the coil under even compression while it’s built up, so the finished winding keeps its geometry once the mechanical forces of a fault current are applied in service.
Insulation & Core Assembly

Insulation pretreatment is carried out in batch across multiple active parts, with layer insulation compacted and reinforced by hand — a process that has a direct bearing on the long-term dielectric strength shown by the insulation-level figures on the nameplate.

Core stacking accuracy and clamping pressure at this stage are what the finished no-load loss figure (4592 W) and no-load current (0.21%) ultimately depend on.
Drying & Final Test

Before tanking and oil filling, the active part is dried to remove residual moisture from the insulation system — a mandatory step for any unit rated to withstand the LI200/AC85 kV HV insulation level on this nameplate.

Special tests (available on request): partial discharge measurement; sound level (noise) measurement; short-circuit withstand test.
All tests are conducted to IEC 60076 and GB1094 / GB/T 6451. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with client witness is supported.
