While much of China pauses for the National Day Golden Week, ZHONGXIN GENERAL’s Chengdu factory remains at work. Through the holiday, for five days of the 7 days holiday our production and logistics teams stay on the line — assembling, testing, loading and dispatching equipment so that every customer order reaches its project site on schedule. Behind every order is our customers’ trust; behind every delivery is ZHONGXIN’s responsibility.
The decision to come back was made together, not imposed. The factory had originally planned to close for the full seven-day Golden Week, but in the weeks before the National Day holiday, orders rose sharply and the production schedule was already tight. Stopping for the whole week durying the National Day holiday would have pushed agreed delivery dates back, causing real delays and losses for customers whose own projects depend on our equipment.
Instead of simply asking staff to return, management talked openly with the workforce and agreed on a plan together: after two days of rest, colleagues would come back to keep production on track, with every holiday hour paid in triple salary than regular payment. ZHONGXIN GENERAL protects its employees’ rights throughout — through overtime pay and allowances now, and through make-up time off later when the schedule allows, so the time staff give over the holiday is given back. This is the balance behind the holiday shift: a firm responsibility to customers that is never met at the expense of the people who serve them.
Production Continues Across Every Workshop
The holiday shift keeps every workshop in motion. In the transformer bays, technicians continue core and winding assembly on cast-resin dry-type transformers while overhead cranes move units between assembly and finishing positions; nearby, workers apply insulating varnish to completed cores. Along the switchgear line, cabinets are wired, fitted and checked against drawings, and in the sheet-metal bay CNC punching and fiber laser cutting keep cabinet and enclosure parts flowing. Every unit is fully assembled and routine-tested before it leaves the factory.

Loading and dispatch continue in the yard through the break. Mobile cranes lift prefabricated cabin substations and transformer packages onto long-haul flatbeds, with rigging crews guiding, aligning and securing each unit for the road. This holiday schedule extends the same commitment demonstrated in our pre-holiday overnight dispatch, which loaded completed cabins and transformers through the night before the holiday began.

Final-Stage Work on the Custom Energy-Storage Transformers
The custom transformers of the 40-unit energy-storage transformer order remain in their final in-house stages during the holiday. Crews apply insulation coating to the cores and move completed units toward the routine-testing positions — the last factory steps before the equipment is released in line with project progress.
