Construction Progress: June to July 2026
By late June, the steel and concrete structures of both workshop buildings were clearly rising on either side of the site’s central axis, with the main office building also under construction between them.

Photos taken less than two weeks later, on July 10, show visible progress on both workshop structures and the office building — a pace consistent with the project reaching structural topping-out ahead of the coming autumn.

International Clients Visit the Construction Site
The new base has also drawn interest from overseas partners touring Zhongxin General’s facilities. On June 29, Dr. Dovik Barkay — representing Ardan Transformer and Parameter Technologies Ltd. of Israel — visited the company and toured the Boruian construction site during his stay.

On July 10, Dr. Jeevan Kumar Jethani from India reviewed the construction progress on site as well, reflecting the growing international attention the project has attracted even before production equipment moves in.

Next Milestone: Topping-Out and a Planned Capacity Shift
Structural topping-out and hardening of the workshop floors are expected to be completed by early September 2026. Once that milestone is reached, installation and commissioning of the energy storage production equipment — lithium battery PACK lines, BMS, EMS, and PCS integration — will proceed on schedule.
The plan is for Zhongxin General’s mature HV/MV/LV switchgear production capacity to be the first to relocate to the new Boruian site. Once that move is complete, the company’s existing facility at No.998 Xinghua 5 Road, Xinjin District, will focus its production on transformers. The switchgear relocation is expected to free up significant floor space at the existing site for transformer manufacturing, supporting a meaningful expansion of Zhongxin General’s overall production capacity.
