Dry Type Transformer

Resin-cast dry-type transformers are our company’s flagship product. The design, management, and production team is led by Mr. Li Xianming, our transformer business founder, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer — all team members are seasoned professionals in the industry.

In the mid-1990s, the Chinese central government decided to introduce dry-type transformer technology from Germany to meet the growing power demand in domestic applications such as airports, subways, and hospitals, as well as the stringent requirements these environments place on safety, reliability, environmental performance, and ease of maintenance. To this end, a team of five German technical experts was invited to transfer dry-type transformer design and manufacturing expertise to core engineers across China’s transformer industry.

Around 2005, Mr. Li Xianming was invited to undertake a further study visit to Germany, where he served as a dry-type transformer design and manufacturing guidance expert for PC Company (Germany) in Southwest China, and was involved in the establishment of multiple dry-type transformer manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Li brings 45 years of experience in the transformer industry, including nearly 30 years focused specifically on dry-type transformers. The dry-type transformers manufactured by the veteran team he has assembled are characterized by high reliability, low noise, and low losses, making them well suited for demanding applications such as five-star hotels, residential buildings, hospitals, subways, and airports.

Our dry-type transformers cover a capacity range of 30 kVA to 8,000 kVA at voltage levels of 35 kV and below. The SCB18 series meets the latest EU Tier 2 energy efficiency requirements introduced in 2019, in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No. 548/2014 of 21 May 2014.
