Specification Range: 50&60Hz, 30kVA to 100 MVA, 132 kV and below level. Our Founder Mr. Lee started as an apprentice in a state own transformer factory, in the late 1970s, then went to university for electric engineering education, then he returned to that factory and started again from a technician, then chief engineer, and totally served more than 20 years in that state own transformer factory, and joined a lot of government organzied training programs all over China.
By Mr. Lee’s own words, he has devoted all his life in transformer industry and knows everything about it. Now, under Mr. Lee’s guidance, we have quickly grown up to be the top 3 transformer manufacturing companies in Sichuan Province, the biggest province in Southwest part of China.
Specification Range: 50-6300 kVA, 38kV and below level. Our Dry Type Transformer Manufacturing Technology is from Germany PC Company. In 1996, Our Founder Mr. Lee went to Germany PC company for dry type transformer manufacturing Training and received Dr. Mohr’s Guidance, Dr. Mohr was then the head expert of five experts group invited by China Government to guide China dry type transformer design and manufacturing, to meet China’s increasing demand of dry type transformers in airports, metro systems, etc.
Then in 2006, Mr. Lee was invited to PC company again and received one more month training, then served as PC company’s guiding expert in China for many years, and directed the establishment and production of quite a few dry type transformer factories in China. So we are one of the first batch factories in China which produce high quality dry type transformers and have accumulated a lot of experience.

Recently, a 110kV/63000KVA intelligent on-load tap changing transformer was officially rolled off the production line at Sichuan Zhongxin General Electric Energy Co., Ltd., and was successfully delivered to the Sany Energy Natural Gas Project in Yanchi County, Ningxia Autonomous Region, marking another major breakthrough for our company in empowering the new energy distribution industry.

ZHONGXIN GENERAL is a professional power transformer manufacturer located in Xinjin County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China. Covering an area of 20 000 square meters with 200 employees, the factory is managed by transformer industry veteran who has more than 40 years experience. Mr. Lee, one of the founders of ZHONGXIN GENERAL, started as an apprentice in an state owned transformer factory in the late of 1970’s, went to Germany to learn dry type transformer manufacturing technology in the late of 1990’s, then helped to setup quite a few transformer factories, and served as the German PC Company’s guiding expert in China. Worked in a State Owned factory as the chief engineer for ten years then another ten years in a Chengdu City as chief engineer and factory establishment general advisor, then in 2017, at the age close to his 60s, Mr. Lee finally established ZHONGXIN GENERAL with his friends.
Right now ZHONGXIN GENERAL factory mainly focues on design and production and sales of 120kV 63000kVA and below level oil immersed transformers, 38kV 6300kVA and below level dry type transformer, switchgears and prefabricated substations. Custom Prefabricated Modular Substation for Aktau Port, Kazakhstan — A Belt & Road Power Infrastructure Case Study
Zhongxin General engineered a purpose-built 2×800 kVA prefabricated modular substation for Kazakhstan’s Aktau container port — a Belt & Road flagship hub on the Caspian Sea. 8000kVA 120kV OLTC Power Transformer Exported to DR Congo — Full Project Case Study
Zhongxin General exported a SZ13-8000/120 on-load tap-changing power transformer — 8,000 kVA, 120kV class, 27.8 tonnes total weight — to a power station project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Independent quality inspection was personally overseen by a former General Manager of Chint Electric’s transformer division. The shipment navigated a real-world logistics challenge when vessel space constraints at the original port required rerouting via Lianyungang. The unit arrived at Mtwara Port, Tanzania on February 4, 2026, with package condition verified as no damage. Switchgear supplied as part of the complete package.

31,500 kVA OLTC Transformer Powers New 35kV Substation for Alar Jing Teng Energy — Xinjiang
Zhongxin General delivered a SZ20-31500/35 on-load tap-changing transformer for Jing Teng Energy Co., Ltd.’s new dedicated 35kV substation at their Alar City, Xinjiang industrial production base. Rated at 31,500 kVA with a 7-position OLTC providing ±7.5% on-load voltage regulation, this unit was delivered January 12, 2026 and confirmed in full operation by March 2026. This case study covers the complete project lifecycle: factory manufacturing, delivery, on-site installation, and commissioned operation.
